I did all my aviation studies about 10 months ago at ADF Airways. I came to the school from Caracas, Venezuela after finishing a Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration. For me, it was the best experience that I ever had. The school, the instructors, the students, the aircraft, and the simulators – everything was excellent. My dream of becoming a Commercial Pilot came true thanks to ADF.
Flying is my passion. It is the freedom of leaving the earth and realizing how small life’s problems can be. Thanks to ADF, I have the privilege to fly advanced corporate airplanes like the Learjet in Venezuela, and now that I’m working as a commercial pilot I feel a fortunate that my passion is my job.
For all the new students and for the people that would like to become commercial pilots, the only suggestions that I’ll give them is to study and investigate as much you can, enjoy each flight as it’s your first flight, and every time that you have a doubt, ask your instructors for clarification. Doing these three things will make you a pilot above the average and will help you to stand out as an aviator. I want to thank ADF and to all my instructors for helping me when I needed them. Learning to fly is a lot of work, but I was able to get it done and each day I fly is a dream come true.

Dear Alex,
It is my pleasure to add my voice to the ones of other students and customers in lauding the very professional, friendly service that ADF gives. I also applaud the work ethics of your staff and have always mentioned your company to those who have requested my advice as to where to take their aviation business. I wish you continued success and will always stop by to say hello as usual.
Sincerely,
Courtney Edwards
Dear Ms. Farkas,
I want to take a few minutes of your time to thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to instruct at ADF. I also want to thank you for the professional preparation ADF gave me as I trained to obtain both my Multi-Engine Instructor and Airline Transport Pilot Certificates at ADF Airways. From the day I started working at ADF back in 2007, I felt like I was a part of a family. In a world where employees and students are often treated like numbers or assets, your personal concerns for my progression as an instructor and attention to my needs as an individual are but two of the reasons I am glad to have worked for ADF airways. I could see that same concern for our students’ progression as well.
As you know, my previous instructing experience had been in class E (uncontrolled airspace), and I had initial concerns about operating in a complex training environment with a major international airport close by. Your chief pilot and director of operations briefed me thoroughly on the procedures and standard practices, and made sure that I was completely comfortable and competent to instruct at ADF before assigning me my first student.
The joy of instructing for ADF was complimented each day by the warmth of the staff; from your director of operations to your most junior instructor, it felt like everyone had the same mission, which was to make sure our students performed at their best every day.
When it came time to prepare for my Mutli-engine Instructor certificate, your senior instructors were true professionals who made sure I was well prepared for my practical examination. The entire process was straightforward and overall very rewarding.
I am working for an airline now, but I will always remember those fine days when I was teaching new students the art and science of flight. In this world, there are few experiences that compare to watching your student fly by him or herself for the first time, or seeing the look on a pilot’s face when he or she gets their certificate. Knowing I was a part of those experiences is something I will always take with me as I sail through the skies.
With Gratitude,
Edgar Casado
